echobuild

Contact and reports

This page brings together echobuild's official channels: how to report content, how to reach us about any other matter, and which rules apply to the use of these channels. None of them charges anything.

Report content or behavior

If you have an account, report a build or the text of an endorsement with the Report to echobuild button on the build page, not by email: it is the simplest way, and the decision arrives in Account notices. The address denuncia@echobuild.app is for any other content or behavior, and for people without an account. Both ways also apply to criminal or unlawful content.

By email, tell us what happened and where: paste the address of the page on echobuild.app where the content is. We only assess what is on echobuild.app: attachments and links to other sites are not opened. Do not send the content itself.

For a report to have the effects provided for in Brazilian Law 15.211/2025, it must identify the content and also who is reporting it. If you prefer not to identify yourself, you can write to the same address, but the message does not start the formal removal procedure.

On community builds with a published endorsement there is also the Report button, which tells the community leadership about something to fix in that endorsement. It is not a report to echobuild: for anything illegal, offensive, a scam or a malicious link, use Report to echobuild or the email above.

General contact and privacy

  • contato@echobuild.app for questions about the site, content corrections, data errors and general matters.
  • privacidade@echobuild.app to exercise your rights over your personal data: access, correction, deletion, portability and information about the processing.

Rules for using these channels

How to recognize a legitimate message

  • echobuild never asks for your password, login code or access token, by email or by any other means.
  • We only accept addresses on echobuild.app itself as evidence.
  • Attachments and links from outside echobuild.app are discarded without being opened. Describe in text what you saw.
  • Every official reply comes from an @echobuild.app address.

Misuse of the reporting channel

The channel exists to protect people, not to target them. We consider it misuse, among other cases, to:

  • report the same content or user repeatedly and without grounds, after the case has already been reviewed;
  • use the channel for retaliation, harassment or to silence a differing opinion;
  • state in a report a fact known to be false;
  • send reports in bulk, in a coordinated or automated way.

Depending on the severity, the applicable measures are the temporary suspension of the account's public actions, the termination of the account in case of repeat offense or serious abuse, and notification of the competent authorities when there is evidence of a criminal offense or of a violation of rights.

How the procedure works

The procedure below applies to any measure taken against an account, whether for misuse of the reporting channel or for another violation of echobuild's rules.

You are notified when the procedure is opened and, if there is a measure, when it is applied. The notice stays in your account, inside echobuild, and that is where you receive the reply. We do not use email for the notices or for the replies in the procedure.

Suspension and termination limit what you can do on echobuild, but do not prevent you from signing in to your account: the notice and the option to appeal remain available there.

The deadline to appeal is 60 days and starts when you open the notice in Account notices, or 30 days after the measure is applied, whichever comes first.

To appeal, use the appeal option shown in the notice itself and write whatever you want to say. You do not need to send any document or any other personal data.

The reply states its reasons and is given within 60 days of receiving the appeal, in your account. If that deadline ends without a reply from us, the measure is annulled for lack of review within the deadline, and that case no longer counts against you. This is not a decision on the merits: the conduct was not considered correct, and if it happens again a new procedure may be opened.

A measure counts as a prior offense for 12 months from when it is applied, whether or not there was an appeal, unless it is undone or annulled. After that it remains on record, as the law requires, but it is not used to establish a repeat offense.

If you cannot sign in to your account, write to contato@echobuild.app.

All deadlines on this page are counted in calendar days, in Brasília time.
